We want you to be 100% happy with your purchase, but as is the nature of use books… the are used. Depending on the previous owner(s), some books are handled with great care, others are ridden like a dirt bike. Most of our vintage and antique books have some general wear, dust jacket chipping, etc. Where these imperfections occur, we take great pains to describe them, but to err is human. Overview
Any item may be returned within seven days of receipt for a refund if, physically, the book is not as described on our site. We can’t help you if you don’t like how the story ends, or it doesn’t give you magical powers as promised on the dustjacket.
To return your book, please contact us at mr-curio@curiosvintagebooks.com so that we can give you further guidance. Please be prepared to send pictures showing the unexpected damage so we can assess the issue.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. We recommend USPS Media Mail – it’s not very fast, but it’s cheap.
If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds
Once your return is in our hot little hands, we’ll let you know and process your refund through the payment method you used for the purchase. Canceled or returned items are charged a 10% restocking fee. We will waive the 10% restocking fee if you would like a store credit.
