Both leather bound editions are in very good condition. Covers and spine show little wear. Corners are slightly rubbed. Pages are gold gilded, yellowing and are clean with no markings. Black and white, and color illustrations and plates throughout. These books contain valuable information and insights in Freemasonry, and clearly show the connections between Freemasonry, philosophy, religion, and the occult. It’s almost hard to believe this book is over 100 years old!

Fun fact: The expression “Giving someone the third degree” come from the Freemasons! This phrase originated from the intense questioning and examination new members undergo to demonstrate their understanding of Masonic principles.
